How to Root LG G Flex (D958) and Install CWM Recovery

Step 1: Download and install above rooting tool on your Computer.
Step 2: Connect your device to your Computer using the original LG USB data cable.
Step 3: Launch “VRoot” program on your PC.
Step 4: Simply, click on “Root” button to start the rooting process.
Step 5: Wait for few minutes and the rooting process will be completed.
Step 6: Once its completed, your device will be rebooted automatically and then you can disconnect your device from PC.
Step 7: Now, open the Google Play Store and from there download “SuperSu” app on your device.
Step 8: Once the app is installed on your device, open it from the app drawer and start updating binaries. (Make sure you allow updating binaries on the device.)
Step 9: That’s it! You’re done with the rooting.

Step to Install CWM Recovery on LG G Flex

Step 1: Download and install the ADB and Fastboot tools on your Computer.
Step 2: Copy the CWM Recovery file to a folder named ‘cwm’ in the C drive.
Step 3: Connect LG G Flex to your computer.
Step 4: Open a command prompt in your system by typing ‘cmd’ in the search/run option.
Step 5: Run the command “cd c:cwm” (where the recovery file is saved) in the command prompt.
Step 6: Once you are in the cwm folder, type the following commands.

adb push recovery-clockwork- /data/local/tmp/recovery.img
adb push recovery-clockwork- /data/local/tmp/recovery.img

Step 7: That’s it!
